Ben Phillips speaking on "What is the Greatest Commandment?" from Matthew 22. This is part one of a two part sermon. God's people are called to Love God with everything they are and to love their neighbors as themselves. Deuteronomy 6:4-9, known as the Shema, taught Israel to hear the truth of God, to love God, to remember God, and to teach children of Him. Jesus says the entirety of the Law hung upon these commandments and one who kept them was told he was not far from the kingdom (Mark 12:28-34).
